Mani-monday: Horrible nails-homemade remedy!

It's Monday and we all want to look beautiful, pretty hair, pretty face, perfect makeup, and ups! we've noticed that our manicure is not perfect so, who cares you have decide to fix that little flaw, and surprise! the last varnish you applied has stained your nails! they look yellow and disgusting. 


Llega el Lunes y todas queremos lucir bellas, nos arreglamos bonitas, el cabello, el rostro, maquillaje perfecto, ups! haz notado que tu manicure no es perfecto así que, que mas da haz decidido despintar tus uñas para arreglar ese pequeño desperfecto, y sorpresa!! el último barniz que aplicaste o te aplicaron ha manchado tus uñas! OH Hell no!

Es bien sabido por todo el mundo que los barnices que tienen un alto contenido de  formaldehído, un componente químico que hace que tus uñas se pongan amarillas, la única y gran solución, no uses esos barnices, pero bueno, si todas tenemos una gran colección no faltara el barniz barato que tiene un color espectacular, debe de existir una solución. 

It is well known all over the world that some varnishes have a high content of formaldehyde, a chemical that makes your nails turn yellow, the one great solution, do not use it! but hey, if we all have a great collection some cheap varnishes will not be  missing so, there must be a solution.

Pues bien hay miles de recetas caseras. Mezcla 2 cucharadas de bicarbonato con 1 limón (si no tiene jugo, con 2!) mezcla y deja que tus uñas reposen en la mezcla por 10 minutos, después cepilla tus uñas y veras que en un par de aplicaciones las manchas amarillas desaparecen. 

Otra buena solución, es comprar una lima pulidora, de esas que tienen 3 o 4 fases, las venden en cualquier tienda de belleza o hasta en el super-mercado!

Well then there are thousands of recipes. Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda with 1 lemon. Let your nails rest in the mixture for 10 minutes, then brush your nails and you'll see in a couple of applications the yellow stains disappear.

Another good solution is to buy a nail polisher, the kind that have 3 or 4 phases, sold at any beauty store or even at the super-market!

Otro gran problema de las mujeres es el crecimiento de las uñas, pues bien, no existen remedios milagrosos para ello, pero si hay recetas caseras que te pueden ayudar a que tu crecimiento sea un poquito mas rápido y sano, ademas de endurecer tus uñas. 

Another big problem is the nail-growth, well, there are no miracle cures for this, but there are homemade recipes that can help you grow a little bit faster and healthier, plus harden your nails.

Todos sabemos que el ajo hace maravillas y bien aqui otra mágica receta para ayudar un poco a las uñas: Triturar un diente de ajo y sumergirlo en media taza de agua, poner a calentar la mezcla y cuando empiece a hervir retirarla del fuego, revolver con un cuarto de taza de jugo de limón y dejar enfriar. Aplicar con un trozo de algodón todas las noches antes de dormir. El resultado, uñas mas fuertes, largas y bellas! 

We all know that garlic does wonders and well here another magical recipe to help you a little: Crush a clove of garlic and soak in half cup of water, bring the mixture to heat and when it begins to boil remove from heat, stir in a quarter cup of lemon juice and let cool. Apply with a cotton swab every night before bed. The result, stronger, longer and beautiful nails.
